Rosie Ezgur

"Hello everyone! I am currently a Junior at the University of Arizona studying Law and Spanish. After volunteering to judge a the National High School Mock Mediation Tournament in 2022, I met Kathie CalkinsKeyes and Richard "Dick" Calkins, Founder of the International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR). Kathie, tournament director and active board member of the INADR, encouraged me to participate in Dick's mediation tournament training lessons. I was inspired to begin the Arizona Mediation Team! Learning how to resolve conflicts and settle disputes is useful in all fields of life (business, law, personal, etc). I find many parallels between my Spanish translation work as an intercultural mediator. I am excited to bring mediation to the U of A!"
