What is the Arizona Mediation Team?
The Arizona Mediation Team is onto our fourth year at the University of Arizona! We are recruiting members and training them on how to compete as mediators, advocates, and clients. We attend and host tournaments on the national and international level.
OUR MISSION
Arizona Mediation offers students a new way to look at the law and teaches students about effective communication in business and personal relationships. Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution and demonstrates how conflicts can be handled with the assistance of an impartial third party.

What is Mock Mediation?
What is Mock Mediation?
Mock Mediation is a simulated dispute resolution meeting in a competitive setting. All of our competitions are against other universities and hosted by the International Academy for Dispute Resolution (INADR). In practice, both teams are given a conflict in which they are to assume the role of either a conflicting party representative, a client advocate, or a mediator. In these roles, they demonstrate public-speaking and problem-solving skills to come to a written agreement.
